+ loving: Etsy Taste Test

Etsy just launched their "Taste Test" tool, where you click on the things you like, and they would generate a selection of results based on what you've selected. Although the results weren't totally perfect and there were items I would just skip through, I still managed to find quite a bit of nice stuffs that caught my eye!

Here's a peek of what I found - and I must say, they really are very "me".

It is certainly helpful when you are overwhelmed by the amount of products on offer in this fabulous place! Give it a go yourself, even if just for the fun of it!

My Birthday Wish List!

Hello hello, dearest Pagies!! It's been a while!!

In case you were wondering if I've suddenly dropped off the blogosphere radar just a couple of weeks before Christmas (!!), the answer is "NO", and I have a very good reason for taking off without a word.

Our migration agent decided to create some holiday magic, and is trying to get us our visa before Christmas. Hence, the last week was spent filling up forms, going for medical check-up, writing our love stories to prove that our relationship really is genuine, filtering through hundreds of photographs and selecting the best ones to represent how we've grown as a couple... It was endless! I've just pressed "send" on my email, and I hope to worse of it is over.

So now, I'm back! And on my birthday too! Happy birthday to me! I am thankful for all that I have at this very moment, and for the wonderful people who share my life with me! And to my dearest Page Thirteen readers, thank you for your support, and I hope you'll share many more birthdays with me too!

I am a little too old to ask for pressies, but I still can't resist coming up with a little with list for myself - just for fun!

♥ March Jacobs Daisy Solid Perfume Ring - an accessory that smells good - how perfect is that?
♥ Coach Madison Leather Sophia Satchel - I'm still into my grey phase - obviously!
♥ A Lomo camera would really be a dream come true...! (Image by SprocketsArts)
♥ Tiffany Keys - I got one of these from Ally as my birthday gift last year, and have since been besotted with the collection!
♥ Another Thomas Sabo charm? I can never have too many!

It's good to be back at Page Thirteen! Hang in there with me for a bit while I get my bearings, and things will get back to normal - soon!

+ inspired by: The Dressed-up Furniture by kamkam

Here are some fun and colors,
to perk up your mid week!

"We are in the dark, made of millions of colors."

The above is a quote found on the intro page of kamkam, a design group based in Seoul, Korea, consising of three members, Hyunjin Seo, Jaekyoung Kim and Jaehoon Jung. Their dream, as written on the page, "...is to have the time and space to conceptualize, construct and share whatever comes to our minds... We want to transform all this darkness to show every single one of it's colors."

How inspiring!!!

In their project "The Dressed-up Furniture Series", they were definitely successful in injecting colors into regular, everyday-ness. The idea behind this series is to combine clothes and furniture by mixing the familiar elements of normal actions like fastening a button with daily furnitures like a stool, storage cabinet and bench.

The result is a collection of fun-looking, child-like and playful furnitures which will surely inject personality into every room they grace, with their funky and beautiful details. I for one am so loving The Dressed-up Stool!

+ loving: Owl Lover 2011 Calendar

Hi all! Remember those gorgeous 2011 Calendars and Diaries I posted a while back? Well, here's another one for you!

The Owl Lover 2011 Calendar is the collaboration work of Shivani (from My owl Barn) and 30 very talented artists. The fun part about this calendar is that you can customise it to your own liking by choosing your favourite art works, so no two calendars are the same.

And guess what? It's free! All you have to do is select the art work you like according to the month you wish for it to appear on your calendar, and it will be generated into a downloadable PDF which you can then print out.

It will make a great gift this holiday season too! Enjoy!
