+ loving: Flederhaus by Heri and Salli

.
.
Good morning, and happy Monday!!

So... I was suffering from a bout of Sunday-night-syndrome last night, or maybe I was just feeling a little down, having to adjust to all our visitors leaving and it's back to just me and myself during the day. Though our place is small, it still feels too quiet and empty at times.

Anyways, to chase away the blues, how about this house full of swinging hammocks?!!

Flederhaus, translated as "bat house", by architects Heri and Salli, is situated in Vienna. An open, public space, Flederhaus is like a hammock wonderland, where you can just walk in, pick your favourite hammock corner, hang out and maybe snooze your day away in utter bliss! How absolutely clever!!

"The FLEDERHAUS is an open space where visitors can find a new home. It can also serve as an oasis of relaxation and a symbol of a vertical public sphere.

The visible design of the FLEDERHAUS is dissolving itself when the visitors are using the inside as an open space and get to a new dimension of a public space. Despite its name, it’s not full of bats, but a cluster of hammocks – Come in and hang out."

May you all have a wonderful day ahead!! And fight the blues! :)
