I stumbled onto Ylva Skarp's work this morning, and found them inspiring and surprisingly calming, just what I needed today...
Swedish designer Ylva loves letters and calligraphies, which she used to turn into patterns and incorporates them into her own range of prints and home wares. Her style is a beautiful mix of modern ideas and traditional Swedish craftsmanship.
I find her intuitive selection of natural textures and materials in earthy, peaceful tones complements the concept perfectly. The quotes are quirky and honest, and I'm also love the Poetry Tree, and the 'Creativity' print - so beautiful and meaningful!
