{loving} Laurie Frankel Photography

Beautiful photography is about a moment captured, a detail highlighted, a memory recorded; just the right light, an expression of style, a unique point of view... 

These are what came to mind while looking at the work of photographer Laurie Frankel - they are all so delightfully stunning, I can really look through the collection of images again and again!

Some images are of such simple and quiet compositions, an open invitation to imagine and fabricate, while others exude such vibrant energy you can't help but get carried away by them; the stories each image tells or suggest or even doesn't reveal, invites the viewer to share in the "moment".

I love the suggestive quirkiness of Laurie's style reflected in her work, and the sense of life, freshness and light captured in each of her images - such skill and talent, and so inspiring as well!

This last images is one of my absolute favorite! - the dreamy, romantic light, the sturdy vintage bike in contrast with the large pile of soft, fluffy beddings, the straight path lined with palm and coconut trees leading into the distance... Beautiful doesn't begin to describe it! And it reminds me of my recent trip to my parent's hometown, where some of the off highway routes we chose to take took us through scenes similar to this one (maybe minus the dreamy light quality, but close)!
